Lincoln Elementary School Local School Council announces a call for candidates to fill a community representative vacancy on the LSC for the 2020-2022 school year. This is a mid-term appointment for the term ending June 30, 2022. Please email the necessary forms (1-20, 2-20, 3-20), a candidate statement (4-20) and two forms of identification to the Local School Council at LincolnLSC615@gmail.com by 3pm on Friday, April 9, 2021. The LSC invites candidates to make statements in person at the April 13, 2021 regular meeting of the LSC at which we intend to appoint a new community representative. Click HERE to access the Forms. Meetings for the remainder of the 2020-2022 term will be held at 6pm on the second Tuesday of each month in the school library (virtually during the Pandemic). Please note: Candidates must reside within the school attendance area, may not be a parent/guardian of a student enrolled at Lincoln Elementary School, may not be an employee of the Board, must be at least 18 years old, and must pass a criminal background investigation. Local School Councils play a role in decision-making at the local school level. The primary responsibilities of the LSC includes approving how school funds and resources are allocated, approving and monitoring the implementation of the annual school improvement plan, and hiring and evaluating the school's principal.
